Neurotoxins in Washington nearshore waters

Too crazy, but true: The shellfish industry wants to plow past science and push bills through the Washington legislature this year that would allow them to apply highly toxic—“Do not apply directly to water”—imidacloprid neurotoxin into Washington nearshore waters. That’s what will happen if our legislature passes House Bill 1611, Senate Bill 1637, and the related Senate Bill 5624.
